Unable to Export BIOS Settings

How to allow Swiftrix to modify BIOS variables

Step 1: Enter the BIOS

• This can be done by opening cmd.exe as an admin and typing: shutdown -r /fw -t 1

Step 2: Go to Advanced Mode

• By default, this can be done by pressing (F7)

Step 3: Search for Tool Tab

• If you do not see this option it is also listed on these tabs for other motherboards: Advanced BIOS Features; BIOS Features; Boot;

Step 4: Enable "Publish HII Resources"

• If you do not see this option, it is also listed under these names for other motherboards: HII Resource Publishing

Step 5: Locate Password Settings

• This can be found in the following tabs or by using the search function (F9): Security; Advanced; More; Boot; Startup

Step 6: Disable Password Protection of Runtime Variables

• Once you find this setting, ensure it is disabled.

Step 6: Save & Exit

• Ensure you save and exit in order to apply the changes. This can be done easily by pressing (F10).
